Keytree board member James Woodhouse named 'Managing Director - Products'

James Woodhouse, Keytree board member and former COO has been named Managing Director – Products. James will report directly to CEO Dan McNamara and will play a lead role in taking Keytree’s KIT and Matrix Booking products through the next stage of their development and growth. He will be responsible for growing both businesses internationally, building on the substantial success they have already achieved. Positioning James to head up the Keytree products division exemplifies the board’s commitment to this area of the business in the short, medium and long term.

KIT and Matrix Booking are run as ‘businesses within a business’ at Keytree. They each have dedicated product owner, technology, development, sales and marketing teams. They leverage Keytree services such as Finance and Human Resources, in addition to accessing considerable wider Keytree expertise such as cloud specialists, technical architects, data specialists, experience designers and a deep pool of developers. James brings extensive technical, operational and management experience to the role which will involve identifying opportunities for expansion, supporting the teams currently in place and liaising with current and future clients and customers.

Keytree at SAPPHIRE NOW & Customer Experience LIVE

The Keytree team will be in Orlando, Florida from 7 – 9 May attending both CX LIVE and SAPPHIRE NOW, which promise to be as spectacular as always. We will be presenting for the very first time Keytree’s Bridge for Retail – a comprehensive subscription-based cloud solution which reduces back office costs, increases efficiency, enhances revenue, increases profitability and provides a seamless customer experience.

As an Apple Mobility Partner, Keytree are involved in this new phase of partnership through the inclusion of our Clienteling and Assisted Selling product KIT, which was built using the SAP SDK for iOS, and an EH&S application. Come to the Apple booth at 11am on Day one, located in the Industries Pavilion to see how KIT enhances the Customer Experience and nurtures customer loyalty using the very best SAP and Apple technology.

PROTECHT system used by opposing teams for first time

On Saturday 27 April at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, Ospreys and Cardiff Blues players all wore PROTECHT mouthguards – the first time players from two opposing rugby teams used the award-winning technology.

Sports & Wellbeing Analytics (SWA), supported by Keytree and Swansea University, designed and built PROTECHT, the head impact management and monitoring system, to better understand and prevent issues relating to concussion in impact sports. SWA selected Keytree as the partner of choice based on SAP’s recommendations as the most innovative SAP partner in the UK eco-system.

The unique hardware and electronics embedded in the mouthguard were designed and built by SWA in close collaboration with a team of Keytree and Swansea University specialists. The same team also wrote the firmware used to capture and transmit information wirelessly to a receiver which logs and analyses detailed impact data accurately and in real-time. The innovative and industry-changing project harnesses powerful elements of both SAP Leonardo and SAP Cloud Platform to serve the app used by the pitch-side coaching staff.
