Keytree is returning to the annual UKISUG Connect in Birmingham with a stand in the Innovation area where we will be showcasing, amongst many other innovations, the Head Impact project which Keytree has developed in collaboration with Sports & Wellbeing Analytics and Swansea University. The project was awarded gold in the recent UK&I SAP Quality Awards. Chris Turner, SWA CEO, who was presented with the award, will be giving a keynote speech on Monday 12 November at the event.
Chris Turner, who will be delivering his keynote ‘Game Changing Reality’ at 11:30am, will demonstrate how it was possible to develop a concept that has game-changing implications for the sport of Rugby Union and beyond. It will explain how the idea came about, why it will change the game, how it was developed and the importance of the SAP quality principles and technology to its evolution.
Both Tim Kyle, Managing Director and Anthony Aughterson, Director of SAP Consulting will be joining other Keytree team members at the event – alongside Carl Walsh, Managing Director of KeyResource.
UKISUG Connect – a peer to peer conference
Day three of UKISUG Connect 2018 will feature pladis Global, a Keytree client and another silver SAP Quality Award winner in the Fast Implementation category. Max Sychevskiy, Digital, Sr Manager at pladis Global will be discussing how the company behind McVities biscuits is turning to SAP’s next generation S/4HANA Cloud ERP system to help the newly formed conglomerate move beyond paper-based, manual business processes and to create efficiencies in its supply chain. Attendees can join the session at 1:45pm in Hall11A (Level 3).

UKISUG Connect 2018 is a three-day conference attended by over 900 SAP professionals, who will have the opportunity to visit 75 exhibitors, attend more than 100 sessions and listen to seven keynotes. The annual conference also gives attendees a great opportunity to network and collaborate with colleagues, peers and partners – with access to endless amounts of information from a broad range of sources.
The theme for this year’s event is ‘Influence is the key’ – building on the SAP heritage of giving customers the opportunity to influence software development through its Influence & Adopt programme – the UKISUG plays an essential role in giving customers a voice. Keynote speeches will also include an address from Paul Cooper, the user group’s chairman and Adaire Fox-Martin, an executive board member at SAP.
The breakout sessions will cover areas ranging from digital transformation to artificial intelligence and cover S/4HANA, compliance, user experience, supply chain, payroll plus Business Objects analytics and reporting.
