Earlier this month, the Keytree team travelled to SAPPHIRE NOW in Orlando, Florida to share with SAP, and its customers, the finer details of how to drive mobile-led change with iOS. On the Apple/SAP booth we presented KIT, built using the SAP Cloud Platform SDK for iOS, to illustrate how this Clienteling and Assisted Selling solution places the retail store at the heart of the customer journey.
Keytree’s presentations were timely – one of the highlights from the flagship event was Apple CEO, Tim Cook, joining SAP CEO, Bill McDermott, on stage to talk about the expanding partnership between SAP and Apple. The announcement detailed how CORE ML, Apple’s on-device Machine Learning technology, will be available for the first time as part of the SAP Cloud Platform SDK for iOS. Cook also explained how retailers could use Machine Learning and Augmented Reality to speed up in-store inventory management and streamline product maintenance in the manufacturing industry.
Keytree works closely with SAP and Apple, and participants in the SAP ‘Fast Start’ initiative – a selection of products from SAP partners serving retail, consumer products, manufacturing and utility sectors. The initiative is based on the provision of a modern and mobile SAP experience, which is made possible by native iOS apps. The end goal is to improve productivity, significantly reduce errors and give employees and customers intuitive, time-saving tools. Keytree, now an Apple Mobility Partner, are involved in this new phase of partnership between SAP and Apple through the inclusion of our Clienteling and Assisted Selling product KIT and Incident Reporting – an EH&S application.

Incident Reporting by Keytree
Incident Reporting by Keytree is a quick, simple and easy-to-use application that allows for the efficient reporting and resolution of accidents, faults and damages across multiple locations. By making fault reporting more accurate and timely and providing clearer communication channels, the app improves the overall Health & Safety conditions for any industry.
In industries such as manufacturing, where an employee’s Health & Safety is at higher risk, simply remaining compliant by regulatory standards is no longer enough. Employee wellbeing, morale, motivation and productivity suffer when the bare minimum is the standard. Using Keytree’s simple innovative application, employees can report faults, risks and incidents as and when they happen, wherever they happen. The Incident Reporting app also provides instant feedback, high accuracy and quick remediation.
Incident Reporting Functionality – built in a user-friendly, easy to use design, employees can instantly report on issues, hazards and faults as and when they occur.
Accuracy of Reporting – accuracy in the process of incident reporting is a fundamental aspect of Incident Reporting by Keytree. Employees can capture images via their device camera and subsequently mark up the image to ensure detailed submission. Reporting can be inputted against pre-loaded assets to ensure standardisation across your workforce.
Speed of Remediation – with Incident Reporting by Keytree employees can set priority status of issues, hazards and faults to allow for the more serious incidents to be acted upon as required. The app is designed to prevent serious harm by allowing employers to act quickly upon incident reports and provide employees with peace of mind that they are safe.
